This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Scrutly (aka ScruttButt the NuttMutt) who passed away on March 31, 2012. He will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Please stop by ocassionally, as we have more memories and photos to add -- feel free to light a candle for Scrutly on this website, or add a special story about him.

Thank you so much, Marilyn Milano, for composing and recording the song "ScruttButt the NuttMutt" -- we will cherish it forever, right along with Scrutly.

My beautiful dog Mindy came to our lifes in 2003.
Mindy is my soulmate and now that I live in Seattle WA.
Always call home in Pleasanton CA to hear how she is doing.
My mother passed away last year and Mindy has been with us though this difficult time.
Unbelivable.  Mindy still going to our  "house main fence" and wait for my mom to come every afternoon.
I truly believe dogs are little angels but Cockers Spaniel are for me my favorite ones.
So this is where we part, my friend,
And you'll run on around the bend.
Gone from sight, but not from mind
New pleasures there, you'll surely find.
I will go on, I'll find the strength,
Life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave
Share one last look before I grieve.
There are others, that much is true,
But they be they and they aren't you.
And I, fair and impartial, so I thought
Will remember well all you have taught.
Your place I'll hold, you will be missed,
The fur I stroke, the nose I kiss.
And as you journey to your final rest,
Take this with you....I love you best.

Grieve not,
nor think of me with tears
But laugh
and talk to me as if I were beside you.
I loved you so...
'Twas heaven here with you.

I lost a special friend today
the kind you can't replace,

and looking at his empty bed,
I still can see his face.

I know he's in a special place
our Lord has for such friends,
where meadows, fields and flowers,
help make them whole again.

I know he's watching over me
he'll be there when I cry,
so with one more kiss on his beloved head
I told my friend good-bye.

God saw you getting tired,
and a cure was not to be

So He put His arms around you,
and whispered, "Come with Me".

With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away,
and although we love you dearly,
we could not make you stay.

A golden heart quit beating
you were finally at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
that He only takes the best.
